Lisa is the founder of Epona Financial Guidance, having worked in a previous incarnation of the business (started by her father), following the completion of her studies - Bachelor of Business majoring in Accounting. She also holds a Diploma of Financial Services, Advanced Diploma of Financial Services and is a Certified Financial Planner, Presenter and Author.
Having moved to North Eastern Victoria to live a life she loves with her partner Basil, dogs, Molly, Ringer and Kate, cat Schnappy, horses Cooper and Tic and a few hundred sheep (not to mention an abundance of wildlife, open space and great community) Lisa is passionate about helping others understand what it is that are their "not negotiables" , their "must haves" in life and manage their finances to achieve such. So, if there's more you want from life, Lisa may be just the guide you are looking for.
Michelle is the newest member of the Team and we are lucky to have found her! Michelle has worked within the Financial Services Industry for many years and started work as a Financial Planner in 1995. After a period in "corporate life" at a number of fund management companies, Michelle made the decision to return to what got her started in the industry, a love of working alongside other like minded people to assist them in driving positive change. Michelle holds a Diploma of Financial Services and is a Certified Financial Planner.
Having started their own family, Michelle and her husband David lead a busy life, juggling the demands of two young daughters, a busy social life and the demands of careers. Michelle enjoys working with her clients on a very hands on basis and is committed to helping guide them to achieve their life plans.
Customer Service Manager
You know how you need something to bind things together? Well, think of Nicole as the glue that holds Epona together, or as Nicole likes to refer to herself "the right hand woman." Nicole started with us in 2010, bringing with her over 20 years experience in the financial services industry. She started her career working with a number of the larger financial institutions and moved into private practice working alongside financial planners in 2004. Nicole is responsible for the day to day administration of the office and all things "customer service". Hers is the friendly voice you'll hear on the phone and the welcoming smile you'll see when you visit our Mitcham offices.
In her spare time she loves to be creative, making lovely one-off pieces of jewellery, painting and drawing masterpieces and spending time with her furry four-legged family.
Yes, you guessed it, Pam is Lisa's mother! Importantly Pam handles all accounts at Epona (nothing better than a mum keeping an eye on things), which is a natural fit in light of her accounting qualifications. So, if you have any queries relating to invoices or fee payments, Pam will be able to help you out.
As with most of the Epona Team, Pam is practisicing what we preach, so please do allow for her extended vacation breaks!
Linda is the most recent addition to the team and a welcome support to Nicole in ensuring we can deliver on our service promises to you. Linda's accounting background combined with her involvement with the running of her husband's business and ability to juggle a surprising array of children's sporting activities, sees Linda with fantastic organisational skills and an asset to the team.
When not assisting in the adminstration of all Epona's client affairs, organising quotes for the family business, or running after two teenage boys, you can bet you'll find Linda engaging in some kind of physical exercise!
